Theatre
Originally opened in 1947 on Christmas Day the Blue Bird Theatre as it was named, provided and continues to provide area residents and tourists affordable and convenient home town entertainment. Currently owned and managed by the Village of Burk’s Falls, the Burk’s Falls Theatre now offers surround sound and digital projection, rivaling the larger scale theatres. With a seating capacity of 225, the theatre offers movie goers a comfortable place to enjoy popcorn and snacks while watching some of the summers movie hits.
The Theatre is located at 172 Ontario Street, behind the Municipal Office- follow the alley way to the entrance.
