INAUGURAL MEETING
BURK’S FALLS COUNCIL
DECEMBER 5, 2006

The inaugural meeting of the Burk’s Falls Council was held on Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at 7:00pm in the Council Chambers. Present were Reeve Elect Cathy Still, Councillors Bruce Campbell, Lewis Hodgson, Ron Russell, and Rex Smith. Also attending were Reverend Graham MacDonald, Rob Learn with the Almaguin News, and Don Still.

The Reeve and Councillors took their declaration of office. Reverend MacDonald congratulated the Council on their election and acclamations to office. He read a passage from Psalms 119 and then offered up a prayer for the Council. He spoke of guidance, harmony, compassion and wisdom.

Rob Learn took pictures of the collective Council and then individual photos of each Council member.

That we do now adjourn from the inaugural meeting of Council at 9:09 p.m.
